We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to clean a new community facility in Myrtleford for approximately 10 hours per week, spread over 3 evenings. Occasional work at Mount Beauty and Bright may also be available. Casual opportunity.

Ensuring that community buildings, such as community centres, council offices and libraries, are clean and well-maintained is essential. You take pride in your work, knowing that you have done your best to ensure that these buildings are clean and presented at the highest possible standard. Your commitment to safe work practices, attention to detail and your can-do attitude will ensure that you deliver an exceptional service valued by the community.

Cleaners provide a vital role in ensuring that community buildings are maintained to a high standard, including:


  • Minimise risk by identifying and responding to potential hazards

Cleaning and hygiene

  • Ensure all areas of the building are maintained to a high level of cleanliness
  • Carry out cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, dusting, disinfecting, glass cleaning and waste removal
  • Restock hand towel, toilet tissue and soap dispensers
  • Check that door locks, hand dryers, lights, dispensers and other items are operational and repair or report any faults
  • Record the date and time that the amenities were cleaned and report any maintenance and equipment issues
  • Inform your supervisor of any cleaning materials or equipment required
  • Correctly store equipment and chemicals
  • Erect signage and temporary barricades as required

Customer service

  • Provide excellent customer service and make every interaction positive

Rostering and attendance

  • Set unavailability on Ento employee app
  • Swap and give shifts on Ento employee app
  • Clock on and off on Ento employee app or Ento time clock
  • Apply for leave (full-time and part-time staff only) on Ento employee app
  • Claim ad-hoc allowances and overtime


  • Observe, comply with and enforce employee code of conduct and any other policies that apply to your assignment
  • Immediately inform your supervisor of any risks or areas of significant concern
  • Other duties as directed that are commensurate with the level of qualifications/knowledge, skills and experience required of the position



  • National Police Records Check
  • Drivers licence

Skills and experience

  • Experience working in a cleaning role
  • Ability to use minor plant associated with cleaning activities
  • Ability to undertake manual handling tasks associated with cleaning activities

Classification: Level 3, Victorian Local Government Award 2015

Ordinary time rate: $27.14/hr
